GPlatform Legal

GPlatform Terms

Every version of every document, and who accepted which.

The legal record of the GPlatform family: the versions of every document our products ask people to accept or read, when each binds, who accepted what and through which product, and the notices that announce a change before it binds.

No companion

There is no self-hosted companion: the record has to be one, kept in one place.

What it is

The legal record of the GPlatform family, formerly called GPlatform Terms. GPlatform Legal keeps every version of every document a product asks people to accept or read, which product asks for which, when a new version is announced and when it binds, and who accepted what, when and through which product. It sends the notices that announce a change before it binds, and it publishes the documents on this site, where every version stays in the document archive.

One record instead of one per product

Each product used to keep its own acceptance screen, its own notice job and its own answer to "who accepted what". Now each one asks GPlatform Legal. An acceptance is never changed and never deleted: a correction is a new entry, and the entries are chained by hashes so that nobody can rewrite them afterwards.

Who it is for

It is our own system, not a product we sell. Our staff write, sign and publish the documents in it; you meet it when you accept terms in one of our products, sign an agreement with us, or ask us about your data. Its privacy notice says what it keeps about you and for how long.
