YAGPDB terms
MIT, run by us for any Discord server that adds it, and what you take on when you add it.
This applies alongside the general terms of service and privacy policy. Where they differ on a point about YAGPDB specifically, this page wins.
What this covers
Our public instance of YAGPDB, the bot your server adds and the dashboard at bot.ennogelhaus.de. These sit alongside the general terms of service, which apply when you add the bot to a server.
It is not a GHub product and does not run on GPlatform. We host it, and it is licensed on its own terms.
Licence
YAGPDB is by botlabs-gg and licensed under the MIT licence. We run it as published. You may run your own instance under the same licence.
When you add it to your server
You are the controller of what it records about your members, and we are your processor: the data processing agreement and its annex apply.
What it records depends on what you switch on. Message logs, nickname history, warnings, verification and reputation are records about identifiable people; switch on what your server needs.
Your server's data is kept while your server uses the bot, and deleted 30 days after the bot leaves it. Message logs are deleted 30 days after they were saved, whatever happens to the server.
Tell your members
Your members did not agree anything with us. Point them at the privacy notice; it is written for them. Discord's own terms and developer policy apply to you as well and come from Discord, not from us.
Acceptable use
Beyond the general terms: do not use the bot's logs and histories to track people across servers or to build a record of a community beyond what moderating it needs.
Availability
No service level is promised. Discord's API is outside our control, and we may remove the bot from a server that breaks these terms or the general terms.
No warranty, no service level, and limited liability
This service is provided free of charge, as it is and as it happens to be available, without warranty of any kind. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence (Section 521 BGB). The limits that mandatory law requires are set out in full in the general terms of service.
